Watercolor House Portrait Painting Being Created by Ted Gordon in Oak Park
I enjoy creating original, hand-crafted house portraits using high-quality, archival pigments and materials. Past clients have commissioned these to remember the home they grew up in, give as a gift to a parent that will be selling their home, mark the occasion of major renovations, or give as closing gifts to their own clients.
Finished pieces are approximately 8"x10", delivered in a mat inside an acid-free bag, protecting the art ready for framing.
Locally, I can take my own photos for referencing your painting. If you have photos, you can email copies to me and I can work with them.
After visiting the site or reviewing your photos and discussing any changes you might like, I can estimate your painting's cost.
Prices are based on my hourly rate, averaging $300 for a typical house portrait. Quick sketches are available for as little as $100.
